That'll do for this stage (within the 30 paragraph Template Defence of course!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. Is the £100 mention still valid?
  • Defence submitted. Response received
  • Hi All

In terms of update. I have received a letter from DCB Legal advising that their client intends to continue with the claim.

It says the court will "direct both parties to file directions questionnaires in due course. In anticipation of that we are enclosing a copy" - do i do anything with this copy?

My question is... how will the court notify me regarding the questionnaires?

    What next... ?

Study the 12 steps that you failed to notice shown in the defence template thread by coupon mad

Check your MCOL claim history too, by logging in

Please note that mediation is now mandatory as well as the above
  • I did follow the 12 steps, but this copy i received came from DCB, not the court. This one also says return by the specified date...yet it has no date on it...

You don't seem to have studied the following, despite me asking you to read the information there , especially 7)

    7) Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire and the usual intimidating template letter saying they 'intend to proceed'. Nothing of interest there. Just file it.

YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT TWO MONTHS OR SO FOR THE NEXT STEP TO HAPPEN:

Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CNBC and then complete it as described in post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.

All the DQ questions are there, except NOTE: IMPORTANT: early telephone Mediation is now compulsory in 2024. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6529913/new-n180-form-mediation-appears-to-be-mandatory/p1?new=1
YOU MUST GIVE THE MEDIATOR 5 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME TO AVOID ADVERSE COSTS RISK -  see here:  https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80935749/#Comment_80935749   And search the forum for Compulsory Mediation waste good day.

( It seems self explanatory to me. )

Please now read the rest of the 12 steps too. Saves us from unnecessary repetition.

Always in the post, same as the claim form arrived, paperwork, red tape, not everyone is online or has email access

So snail mail, which is why I told you to login to MCOL and check the claim history, if it has been posted out, it would say so, otherwise its wait for it to say so, after which your local postie will put it through your letterbox a few days later

You can download a copy, fill it in, and email it after the paperwork was posted or after it arrives
