With a Claim Issue Date of 22nd August, you have until Tuesday 10th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.

Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

and i obtained a parking ticket, the thing is we hired the room for a private party, surely they cannot give me a ticket for this, We hired the bar for a night time 18th Birthday party, leaving the car outside whilst we unloaded it, the thing is they sent us a payment method but it does not work (on the computer) it just stated we have typed in the wrong code, we tried it on several occasions and the same result, can you tell us what to say to the "Civil National Business Centre" as these have sent us a demand for £264.36 this is made up of £179.36 for the parking offence and a court fee of £35 and Legal Representatives costs of £50, surely they cannot demand such a fee for parking outside something we had hired for the night ??

Why are you trying to pay when you simply defend the case?  Stop trying to ring up.

Molerat, excuse me but what you put kind of confused me ! What do you reccomend i state in my letter to the courts, this was a load of info, sorry about that but i am 55 now and cannot compute all that info you sent to me !

I wrote that thread. I'm just an ordinary retired woman and not a lawyer. Please explain what you are struggling with when you read the section about court claims?

Just follow the link and deadlines that @KeithP gave you.  We have a Template Defence that I wrote. Very easy to use.

You know if the Password that they sent to me does not compute with the claim number on www.moneyclaim.gov.uk can i get off purely for this fact ???
