Hi, this is the ''Claim Form'' I have received. Apologies for the marks around the form, I have tried to omit anything that may identify this claim form to me, I hope you understand and that this is OK ?  If any information is required, I am happy to share. Thank you very much.

  • These are all estimated reads.  Do they match what your meters say?

Your next task is to read the meter  that way you will know where you stand in terms of whether the amount they are claiming you have used is accurate, at least.

Read the meters now so they can be compared with June 24 readings

Is it an old semi ?

    How many bedrooms ?
  • I don't have anything knowledgeable to say practically but you have and will get good advice from well informed people on here, and good on you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable and seek advice.
I just wanted to chip in and say that, while hopefully it can be resolved, even if it is a long and stressful process and you do for some reason end up having to pay it all etc (worse case scenario!) please don't feel suicidal- call Samaritans if you need to (though be aware they're there to listen, not guide) but I promise this is a dip, it's not your forever feelings or situation

    hello everyone,
I've managed to grab the bills from the online account and it clearly shows I had a D/D in place with regular payments made until they (British Gas) look to have made changes to their system ? And if I am reading this correctly, it does shows I was in credit too.

I'll try to take a reading of the metre now.

    Does the below help ??
