Same with Octopus - can't get Agile, Tracker.. without smart meter, or EV, heat pump tarrifs without owning eligible items.0 -

Readings still not showing up, hopefully it wont take weeks. Is it true that they cant start until a final reading is agreed with old supplier? (so if this is held up, it holds up usage tallies moving forward?). I might need to nudge Octopus as there is no sign their end of a final bill being worked on, the dash just says they cant get readings.I googled it and smartgb energy seem to think readings should be completely uninterrupted, but do mention hold ups relating to final reading disputes.Edit, have nudged Octopus now, told them they have everything they need, to stop messing about and produce the final bill.0

I googled it and smartgb energy seem to think readings should be completely uninterrupted, but do mention hold ups relating to final reading disputes. My data started coming through to TE on the morning of my switch. Haven't seen any issues so far with this. I don't have any meter readings visible though. I had to give them an opening read by email and have so far got no acknowledgement or evidence it's been processed. Tomorrow is my 5th day since switching, so at that point I think the DCC makes up a read, or perhaps will go for the smart read taken by Octopus the day before my switch date. Not sure what the consequences of that will be as TE will be billing using consumption data, not meter readings. The only way I've been able to get data for the day before my switch is through n3rgy and Bright. Octopus doesn't have it and neither does TE. No wonder final bills have been problematic. This is what I currently see on MyWatts:0 -
I gave them an opening read which is is visible. But the smart consumption usage graph is stuck on "your data will be available soon".
How did Octopus react on your move over date, did they do a final reading and the dash showed you left?
Sadly bright doesnt cut it, is gaps in it. I also want to see it on my supplier.
The facebook group has one person say it took a month, and another had to badger them to get it working after 3 months. Both SMETS2 customers.

There's not much difference on the Octopus side. The website shows the following where my tariff would normally be:The app looks more or less the same but the button to view my tariff details is missing entirely. It looks like without TE having processed my opening read, things are rather stuck. Since I had usage on two registers, Octopus was only billing using one of these (ignoring the second), and TE only has one input box showing "Tot", I did not want to use the website and potentially have the two suppliers interpret a single reading differently.1

Yeah that's the same as me, so given you are getting the consumption on TE, it looks I am wrong on that being the hold up.
