Tomato Energy (Electric Only Supplier) - Too Good To Be True ?

Iam going to miss TE if they go. I have been with them since Feb.25 when I bought my EV. We normally use around 5000 KWh per year so high usage and with the EV Iam expecting annual usage to be around 8000 KWhr.
TE has been great with monthly bill and very reasonable price (£90-£100 per month). Iam so used to this now that Iam struggling to stomach the rates offered by other suppliers.
Iam thinking of just sit and wait with the hope TE might survive (I know unlikely). If they fail then my best option will be EON smart drive tariff.2 -
Has anyone noted that TE bills do not show metre readings? How do you keep a proof of the readings if moved to SOLR?0

Wonder who the supplier who they get dumped on will be?Life in the slow lane0

SOLR might have some fun reconciling accounts.1

Just a thought to those jumping from Tomato for fear of being transferred to a random provider on a standard rate tariff, we used a small supplier a couple years back which went bust and was transferred to EDF on a special tariff which was the same peanuts per unit we were paying, we were on that peanuts tariff for over 6 months, paying a fraction of the regular EDF prices.0

This is one of several reasons why it's a good idea to keen an independent record of your meter readings when you check them monthly...sam1970 said:Has anyone noted that TE bills do not show metre readings? That'll be that, then.3 -
