    You have to ask yourself how much difference in performance  between both processors. If not much then buy UK version on Vodafone contract. 
    A bit of Googling will show that when tested the difference is unlikely to be noticeable. Go for the easy safer option.

    You won't notice the difference in processors.  Any phone has had enough oomph for general use (browsing internet, making phone calls, sending messages) for years, especially the more expensive models.  Just buy the phone from a reputable vendor in the UK.  Personally I wouldn't buy a phone from Amazon, especially if not actually sold by Amazon.
