I don't know how it is where you live but there aren't many balconies around here.
That'll be fine for flats I assume but most will be going somewhere else I would expect.

They'll take the place of kiddy's trampolines as the railway line blocker of choice when the wind gets up.
I'm grateful I live in a conservation area surrounded by listed streets, won't have to put up with these Lidl specials sprouting from every dwelling.

Difference is that existing panels were installed, generally on roofs, by professionals who have the right size spanner to hit the nails with.

How about nobody?
It's really quite difficult to injure yourself with 40 volts DC, and there are lots of safeguards against exposing yourself to 230 volts AC.
