Plug in solar

Thanks for the input @QrizB . Much appreciated. I'm on a steep learning curve with this, but that's part of the fun and the challenge.
I looked at loads of info about cables on Google and realised that 4mm (or less) would be fine for the 8 meter run I need and for the low output from the panels. In the end I decided that for a few £ more I would go for a 6mm core. I could probably have saved a little as well if I bought the connectors and cable as components, and built up the leads myself.
I'm planning on running the panels in series, so although I will be close to VMax for the HF-800-WB, I'm hoping it will be OK. If not, there will be an eBay listing sometime soon!!1 -
You have to add ten percent to the panel voltage for winter, as cooler panels produce more voltage than the spec which is done at higher temps. Be an interesting test to see if the inverter has over-voltage protection or burns out.

Someone on my socials shared a photo of their 400W solar patio table:
You'll shade the table when you're using it, but the 90% of the time that you're not using it it'll be generating electricity.

And trip over the cable after a couple of medicinal sunshine beers

I can immediately see a big problem, especially if you or neighbours have pets, as that table will get nice and warm: cat-!!!!!!-trophic shading issues! 🙀
LOL, the word editted starts with an a and ends in ss.

So quick update, We were guzumped on Facebook market place someone was selling the ecoflow power stream that we can connect to our panels and delta max batteries for £200 but we received a message Saturday saying sold to someone else for £300 would I like to offer more....*@$$&&#&3(rude reply here)
However every cloud and all that found another for £150 being posted out so don't even have the fuel costs now either.
Also comes with the UK 3 pin plug to potentially plug in straight away (cough cough)

That's a result! I look forward to hearing how you get on with it :)

Normally clouds even with sliver linings aren't good for solar!
