That's spooky!!
I spotted those yesterday whilst looking for cheap panels.
If I can't find a better deal in the next few days, I will order a couple of them assuming they still have them in stock..1 -
Just revisited that website, added two panels to my basket and it's quoting £144 for delivery 😥

How much? What are people's guesses that the likes of Lidl / Aldi willl be selling their kit for?

As you can put your own system together well before the rush for 400w plus panels £200-250 and now £250-£300 (including mounts) I suspect they might use their German roots and how cheap the kits are there and just the need for a UK plug I expect £300-£350 and they well sell oke hot cakes

I'm hoping that an 800-watt kit will retail for £250 if they're VAT-exempt, like in Germany. £300 if not.
This also assumes that HMG authorise 800 watts. A kilowatt would be nice, but I wouldn't put it past them to limit it to less than 800.

Surely some logistic problems getting two large panels out of the supermarket and back home so they might also be selling the inverters on their own. If they are the smaller panels they are notoriously bad in poor weather compared to the full panels, BTW.

How are these portable panels supposed to be fitted?
My experience of the average persons DIY skills is that they leave a lot to be desired.
These panels are going to fly in a wind, what's the plan?

There are some interesting insights on this website that I found yesterday.
I haven't studied all the points in detail, nor am I competent enough to decide on the validity on the discussion over the RCD type requirements, but it does provide a lot of background info.

You only have to look at the German kits to see they provide balcony brackets for them.
A pick and mix of the mount required might be an option but we will have to wait and see
