Euro Car Parks -Scotland

Hi,
Hoping someone can advise. I’ve been issued with a euro car parks parking charge notice of £85, for overstaying the maximum time limit. I’ve used this car park often but honestly never really thought about the time limit, I guess I’m never really there that long.

Do I need to pay this? Any other parking fines I’ve had from the local council etc I’ve always paid but have heard some people say that with private companies it can’t be enforced? Just looking for some clarification if anyone can help. I’m so annoyed at myself for it.
Thank you.

Sorry for the delay and thanks. I too was also unsure like someone mentioned in another post as they’ve provided images of the car, but as was mentioned I don’t know how they’d prove the driver? So if I ignore will I further down the line expect to be threatened with a rising fine or further court action? My initial instinct was I could ignore but the thought of getting threatening letters does make me feel a bit uneasy.0

Was the parking event at a Morrisons supermarket car park? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Nothing happens but if you want it cancelled, do PLAN A (see the NEWBIES thread where this is explained).

From what I can see there, I should follow the template of the ‘one size fits all’ letter and not declare who the driver was, if I’m following correctly here?
With regards to photographs etc Ithey were provided along with the charge, showing the exact time my car entered and left the car park, there was no ticket put on my car window I should have added. I only became aware after receiving the letter. I’d therefore need to omit that from the template. I was also parked there for a considerable length of time 7+ hours, would that have any effect?0 -
I didn't suggest you try Plan B (appeal).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apologies then, I must have looked at the wrong part. I’m still getting used to navigating my way on this forum so I’m not as familiar with the posts and finding things within them.0
