    I would agree with @bagand96 comments.

    I don’t think the OP has mentioned the routing/date.  One other consideration might be that the ‘new’ earlier flight is not paired up or loaded on to the holidays side of the business. Perhaps just the airline side.  Ground service arrangements such as reps welcoming the flight and the coaches to the hotels, may just be loaded against the one flight - the one the OP has been moved to.
