What about a mobile internet contract, if you get a decent mobile signal?

As you say FTTC / SoGEA isn’t available, so ADSL is apparently the only alternative to Virgin , ( unless an Alt Net is available or mobile broadband can deliver an acceptable performance ) , Virgin no doubt will know what’s available from competitors in every area they serve , and if there are no realistic alternatives they have no reason to offer discounts.0

Strangely, SOADSL2+, ( that’s simply ADSL2+ without PSTN telephone ) shows neither available or waiting list , just ‘- -‘ , this is a pretty indeterminate response, its neither one thing or the other ,This is a BTw checker , so only refers to providers that consume BTw , most LLU providers that offer ADSL2 don’t use the BTw platform, so Sky ,Talk Talk and Vodafone are not bound by the returns on this checker , although the ADSL2+ speeds will be in line with the checker , so around 16Mb ,but obviously they may have their own reasons for not offering service, seems odd though that ADSL2 isn’t available at all ,
Do you know your exchange name ,

these checkers once were pretty accurate, not so much now, but may show what was available from LLU providers1
