You won't if you win, or if they discontinue2

And did the mediator say what DCB Legal fees would be?tradershads said:
Thank you, the mediation service person scared the hell out of me by saying, if you lose you will have to pay DCB legal court fees, etc.Coupon-mad said:Yes - easily won. Most with no hearing.
Why do you say £212 - the sum a court might award if you were in the 1% here who lose - is a big risk compared to the claim which is c300?
It's a no-brainer to carry on and get the usual DCB Legal discontinuance before the hearing.
It may be their role to discuss risks but they need to have factual knowledge of the risks. The mediator clearly didn't know the costs the court is likely to award if you were to lose.
Your Mediation appt should not have "scared the hell out of you." You should raise this issue, email the SCMS.
Small Claims Mediation Service
The mediator is neutral and helps each party to explore options and discuss risks. If you have any complaints or issues to raise about the Mediation ServiceEmail: scmreferrals@justice.gov.uk3 -
Make a complaint about the Mediator telling lies. There are NO ADDITIONAL DCB LEGAL FEES at stake. The claim already includes the capped £50 legal fee. The Mediator is wrong to tell Defendants that they risk more solicitors' fees and why the heck aren't they telling people that DCB Legal almost always discontinue? That's the truth.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Does this court letter mean the court knows that I have filed something but they have lost it and I need to file it again?
Its seems like a normal occurrence.

Yes, that's exactly what it means, and you are right, it does seem to happen too often.tradershads said:Does this court letter mean the court knows that I have filed something but they have lost it and I need to file it again?
