Hi - one of the other 502 people here! Car was in the garage for over 2 months whilst they checked the battery.

Turns out they did nothing and just stuck a sticker on the dash saying don't charge above 80%! Dealer didn't give me any report in writing about the state of the batteries (I have requested this in writing) and offered me a weird cash offer of £250 for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the information in this thread, I'm just planning my first contact with the finance company. I'm on PCP too.

Any updates on your case? To be honest this car has been such a pain I would happily take 4k and give it back at this point!

True. With the speed these things go I expect they're no closer to a solution! As someone else said, chances of finding someone else in the same boat are slim. If anyone was interested I'd come back and share my outcome also.
