At the beginning of this thread, I mentioned that I had 2 simultaneous tickets for the 2 cars that I own, so one of the N180s is for a vehicle I wasn't driving - should I be completing N180 the same for both (I'm particularly thinking on D1) or at all where I'm not the driver? Thanks in advance.0

If you are dealing with 2 separate cases, then you deal with the same steps for each claim, be it one, two or ten
But if the cases are identical apart from claim numbers, you ask for them to be dealt with as a single case that covers two PCNs, so merging them into one
You know the circumstances, I dont, but 2 claims means 2 sets of paperwork, 2 of everything
The defences should have dealt with the issue of keeper, and driver , so I don't see the significance here, both should be judged in court, regardless of who was driving2 -
In your covering emails x 2 ask for the 2 claims to be consolidated by the allocating Judge when he/she receives these cases in boxwork, because they involve the same alleged contract, location, parties and signage (the only real factual difference being minor: two different vehicles, one of which the Defendant was not driving).
Refer to both claim numbers clearly and say there should be just one hearing allocated to hear both claims because this is a complete waste of duplicated court time. Deliberate duplicate intimidation by a legal firm who will discontinue anyway and you ask for 'unless order' Directions that will make this Claimant liable for the Defendant's costs in the case of a late discontinuance and/or failure to pay the hearing fee(s).

In the N180 section (in bold) I beg people not to ask about the 'new' two year old questions and I provide 2 links about D1.Yes, there are a couple of new Qs in the tedious N180 form; please DON'T post asking about how to answer them:1
