Do joint account debit cards say so on them

Options
Or are they a carbon copy of your other single account?

I can't be having to read the numbers to distinguish between 2 of the same card at the till so may need to use another bank?

It'll say who the account holders are.

    e.g. Mr F. Smith & Mrs G.H. Smith

If I remember correctly, with Monzo my joint account card looked the same as my individual account card, but I could choose how my name was printed on it - so I opted for a shortened version so that I could tell the difference. Pretty sure I still mixed them up once or twice though

Was just going to come and say that, our joint Starling account is clear both on the card and google pay that it's joint, but it's in my name on my card

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

      my RBS cards are identical.

Some banks let you choose a design for your cards.

but a lot of the time the 2 cards will only differ in the numbers

Cards have to have a different number, or if one needs stopping it is not possible. As they are stopped by card number.

The question is why do you have both cards from a joint account? Each party should carry their own.

It depends on the bank. My joint Monzo card says joint on it and is white instead of orange like my individual card. My Halifax one has nothing to indicate it's for a joint account.
