done that, still no joy.
all the settings are correct.
my dads wont connect wither but mine will connect to my dads network no problem......
a replacement modem/router is being sent to me so hopefully that will sort it ..

i would like to thank everyone, i exchanged the netgear for a belkin and i now have wireless internet...
just one thing how do you turn it of, do we just switch the wifi switch to off on our laptop ??

After about five threads on getting wireless working and she wants to turn it off now!

Read the excellent documentation that Belkin provide.

no i meant what do you do when you wnt to finish with the laptop do you log off like you do with normal internet.
and there is no need to be quite so rude !!

Did you switch off your sense of humour instead of the wireless....??


Please dont be so quick to slam people who try to help you and take the comment as intended. We are a community and the odd fun post helps break up the dull typing trying to help countless people with thier wireless connections... 99% of the time the answers are in the enclosed instructions...

sorry, but in another thread about this, i put i would try and sort it myself and the same person, put they were glad that iam and i took it slightly personally tht they were getting on at me.....
