Hi,

Looks like Northampton has lost my directions questionnaire.

I've been requested to send a copy of my defendants directions questionnaire to County court at St Helens but cannot find an email address for them.

Would appreciate if anyone can advise how to send the questionnaire to St Helens county court.

I've attached the letters they have sent me.

Many thanks
Titch :)

I can think of a few options...
    1. Ring the CNBC and ask them for the St. Helens email address,
    2. Ring St. Helens County Court and ask them for a suitable email address,
    3. Google court finder and find a suitable email address that way.
Both the phone numbers you need for options 1 & 2 are on that Notice you have shown us.

I find it strange that the CNBC claim to have lost your N180 (DQ) yet they still know that you want it transferring to St. Helens and indeed have done so!

They've now got my N180. I've received this letter back.

I have a few photos I would like to use as evidence. They are basically saying I wasn't parked correctly in a box, despite having a permit.  But where I work the spaces are really small and it only takes a van to park or a car to not park properly and its impossible to park completely in a box.

I have photos showing from different days how vans/big cars can barely fit into a space. Is there a template I can use to submit the evidence? I need to serve to the court and claimant by 4th September.

    Thanks

OK, a telephone hearing but WS bundles needed in a few days this week!

Here's a recent one being worked on today albeit yours isn't the same parking firm and your own statement will no doubt benefit from the photos you mention, as extra exhibits (make sure you embed the metadata or supply screenshots of the photos, to prove the date and time you took your signage pics):

That one is OK except paras 6 and 7 need deleting (unnecessary exhibits).

Loads of other good recent WS to search for and read this Summer.

The exemplars in the Newbies thread are a bit old. Read newer WS on recent threads.

Could I just use the photos as the main points in my WS? Had a quick skim through of the above and I don't have the time to do such a thorough document with all the other example cases included. Just worried I wont know what I'm talking about if asked by the judge.

Thank you so much for your responses

Yes ... but really not recommended... you'd be throwing away the chance of the case being dismissed after 5 minutes flat if you don't exhibit Chan and Akande.

You'd also be putting all your eggs in one basket.  What if you get a rookie Deputy Judge who thinks any signs will do?  I've seen a higher Circuit Judge fall for that lie before.

    Don't assume signs are enough.

Why not just copy & adapt their one you looked at, or do the search i suggested and find another one you like better (but ONLY search for 'NEWEST' so you see recent ones from 2023/24).

What is it about that WS that you think you wouldn't be able to say/explain?

If you used the Template Defence you have already relied upon those cases anyway.

I have my court hearing tomorrow afternoon via phone. Has anyone done a phone hearing before? Any tips and advice on what to expect? Will the judge do most of the talking?

    Many thanks

You have ignored questions asked of you six weeks ago and now you want answers with less than a days notice.

    Good luck.
