Are eBayers completely bonkers?????????

I find that I can do it, but every so often eBay will intervene and say "you can't contact them". Particularly if you get into a conversation and send several emails to the same eBayer...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Just thinking about this - could it be a bit of fraud going on here with people pushing the bid price up too in the sense that perhaps the winner is somehow associated with the seller?Gordon Brown ate my hamster0

No, whoever bought this hasn't left feedback yet, but look at this

The person who paid £4.99 for this reservation number left pos feedback.0 -

There were 7 unique bidders I think, so this is probably unlikely:

"Buy It Now price is no longer available since bidding has started." - so she did put a BIN when listed: wonder what that was!! No more than £14.99 MAX I'd guess.
I really do not believe the seller set out to mislead anyone in the scam sense of the word. But what I think she DID do wrong was not to end the auction early to sell to the current then high bidder in time for that person to actually make use of the reservation at Argos before close of business that day.0 -

The point is they must have known they were buying a reservation number, and it would still be valid after the auction.
I don't think the people who bid £80 for one knew it was just a reservation number, nor that it would be invalid when the auction ends.0 -
