could be a savvy buyer. How exactly is the seller going to prove delivery if the buyer pays with paypal?

Win auction, pay with paypal, get res number and a week later file an item not received. Unless seller is smart enough to send a recorded envelope

Except the resevation ran out 5 ish hours before the auction ended
and more than likely to have been reserved by someone else unless they were quick to re-reserve.

Reservation expiring before auction ending and being won by someone in Nottinghamshire without a hope of getting anywhere a Scottish Argos in time - all very odd.

If buyers don't read auctions properly who are we to point out that they are TSFE? Someone as experienced as that should know better.

The reservation number ran out before the auction ended, so the item for sale did not exist at the end of the auction. Unless the seller re-reserved it.

I've seen people pay more for an ebay item than it would cost new in the shops, so nothing surprises me on this.
