Who Can I Claim From?

Recently had a 3 hour delay on a long haul flight which was caused by firstly a lack of luggage trolleys and then the plane being damaged during the luggage loading by one of the trolleys. The plane then needed repairing and being okayed for departure. Am I able to claim for this?

Was the delay more than three hours based on ARRIVAL time?
Do you feel you need to claim financial compensation for this delay?0 -
Yes, the airline is responsible for the actions of their ground agents.
See the case Siewert and Other v Condor Fulgienst, where a set of mobile stairs hitting an aircraft was held not to be "extraordinary circumstances"1 -
