No, that is all you need at this stage. DCB Legal will discontinue in 6 months.

Frankly, as its only a single PCN charge of a maximum of £100 it's almost criminal to falsely inflate the total charge to a sum that high, around £320 instead of the typical £212 once the false costs are removed

Personally, I think that the England and Wales civil justice system should adopt the £300 or less version in Scotland, so that spurious additions are wheedled out at the start, banned in fact, that would probably reduce the overloaded claims putting less pressure on the CNBC and the civil courts etc

The bean counter paralegals with the faulty calculators should be punished for this malpractice

    Update on the parking fine:
I've received a court date of August through the post. Are DCBLegal likely to proceed or drop the case before it goes to court?

My prediction above (from August) hasn't changed. Expect frantic phone calls trying to dupe you into settling. Say no. Discontinuance will come. Show us the NoD when you get it.

    Hi all,

I'm around 11 weeks away from my court date now and no discontinuance from DCB legal, how long should I leave it until I start writing a witness statement? Also, I usually avoid calls from numbers I don't know, should I start answering incase it's DCB legal to tell them I won't be paying anything?

What's the deadline for them to pay the court fee?

What's the timeline for you and them to exchange Witness Statements, late July?

No need to answer the phone unless you wanna wind their little baby legal kids up!
