If of any help, this is seller fulfilled so no need for the £35 spend:[Deleted User] said:
My 2kg of bicarb cost me £6.48, and was ordered with other items for free delivery.

I think B&Q give free delivery over £30 (but where we live they only deliver on Mondays) and that's a similar problem to a lot of independent websites in that they either charge for delivery or require a min spend.
eBay is pretty good in that competition keeps prices low and most sellers offer "free" delivery, only bug bear with that is you are losing out on combined postage but if you only want to spend say £7 rather than £30 it's ideal for me.pinkshoes said:
It does concern me that people's "go to" shopping outlets are either Amazon or eBay!
So many independent shops now offer free postage and should be given a chance to compete with these tax evading giants
Some websites also charge silly postage, recently ordered something where the website said they try to combine postage and keep it low but they charged £12.50 for a RM Tracked 48 small parcel! That's £3.39 to you and I via RM online so I assume they pay that or less...
Although eBay take their cut at least the seller fees are lower than Amazon and there's less need to be tied to the Amazon ecosystem in terms of FBA to obtain sales but then again you'll probably out sell eBay 10 to 1 on Amazon with the right product...
And when you run your own website you're often a slave to Google and social media giants for exposure....In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
I did not realise I was using two profiles until someone on here pointed it out. I don't want to accidentally use a second one again. If it's deleted there won't be a problem.user1977 said:Why do you want to delete it? If you don't want to use it, just log out from it and don't log back in.

I use eBay for small items but the vitamins I wished to buy were cheaper on Amazon. Also, the way reviews are shown on eBay does not give an idea of what others think of the item. if they sell several items. You have always got to be on the alert when shopping.prowla said:I always look at the total and confirm what it includes; I typically wait to batch things to get free shipping, but it often defaults some items to paid delivery. That said, it's not peculiar to Amazon: I went for a spare pair of glasses at Boots opticians during the week and when I went to pay the total was different; when I pointed it out, the assistant said it was for the warranty - they'd snuck on an extended warranty, but I caught them and had them remove it. Back to Amazon: I always cross-check prices before buying; they're frequently not the cheapest and often the same item is cheaper on eBay,
NB. I have just collected my Amazon order (placed yesterday) from the collection point. It still bugs me when they could not explain the 15 August delivery date. The company is not as slick and advanced as I thought.0 -
Cancelled my Prime and have actually found the deliveries to be faster since cancelling. Ordered some resin recently and it went through
the usual options. Pay 99p for Prime get this order tomorrow (Sunday) or subscribe to Prime again and get it Sunday.
I declined those and selected all the items to have the free delivery on Tuesday and it still arrived on the Sunday. My Prime was getting to
be a 2 day delivery on average not the super speedy deliveries I used to get. So I got the same speedy delivery but without paying for Prime.
Not missing Prime so far and I cancelled 6 months ago.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...3 -

I contacted the team earlier and asked for this profile to be deleted as I have fewer discussions bookmarked than on the other profile.
