Just called them today. Was told my order had got "stuck in system" and will be shifted along today. Only took three months! I reminded them about my two free gifts and they it shouldn't be a problem. Hmmmm...I wont hold my breath....

errr, why would you want to even consider this? ....... Have you not read the other 42 pages of people complaining and having terrible trouble with Staples?

seeing this thread again reminded me i still have not recieved my pen yet not to mention the speakers etc.
so i just sent them a mega stroppy email to every email address i could find for them.

gave them untill monday to send my stuff otherwise i said i would report them to the police for the theft of my money taken back in oct.
and of course report them to trading standards too.

wait and see what arrives on monday

I just called Staples to ask about the free gift for the order that I placed back in October. I was expecting to be offered a replacement, however I was told that there were "more than 3000" of the surround sound speaker sets in stock, and one would be sent out to me.

I then asked to speak to accounts about the repeated invoices/statements indicating that I had not paid. As soon as she tried to put me through, I was cut off. I called again to get the direct number (0800 4960647). After 10 m inutes or so on hold, the guy in accounts told me to "just ignore the invoices".

What a way to run a company!

I was told 2 weeks ago over the phone that the speakers were in stock and would be sent straight away. I rang again yesterday to be told there is a problem finding them in the corby warehouse!!!!!!!! so still no speakers.

ps my order was placed in oct last year

Guess what the nice postlady delivered yesterday?
A CD player.
I ordered the speakers back in october with the rest of you,but had long since given up any chance of anything from this lot,after several unanswered e-mails.
They will probably charge me for it...
Not bad for a freebie,cheap chinese quality,but gave it to a mate,who fitted a shower in for me,and he's happy with it.
