Building work quality (lintels, bricks etc))

If the window was the same width as the door then the lintel should be adequate. It makes no difference whether it's a window or door.1404 said:And would it need a bigger lintel than the one which was above the window? This has been mentioned to me by a couple of people.
I don't think it looks a really bad job, although the jambs should have been done in blockwork with a vertical DPC.
Also on a high quality job the camber arch would have been rebuilt.2 -
