    Hello All,

Just to update, I've just come off the phone to the court, they have informed me that the case has been discontinued. I'm a little annoyed that I haven't been informed of this as it was on 1st May, not sure if they are supposed to contact me but I would have had to turn up to court otherwise.

Many thanks to everyone for their assistance in this, I imagine it is extremely difficult to the majority fighting these as it's usually the first time for everyone and everything seems to be very confusing, but thanks again to everyone for their help and reaching a positive outcome.
Great - but you (and we) need to see the Notice of Discontinuance from DCB Legal.
If it's not in your junk emails, then ask DCB Legal by email for a copy of it and threaten to seek wasted costs if they don't.

Then show us the NoD, so that it can be counted in the DCB Legal discontinuances thread.

Thank you again, no email from them, I've contacted them to ask for the NoD, what happens if they don't send it?

Great news. Shocking waste of court and your time and unacceptable you had to ask for NOD. You'll get added to @Umkomaas thread now.

If  you used the Template Defence, you should already know (from the concluding paragraphs of the defence) that it covers the idea that costs can be claimed after very late discontinuance.

The NEWBIES threads tells you how. Costs after a discontinuance are covered there, but you may not have any?

But congrats - you won. Nicely done.

Yes, I'm just not sure if it was late enough, also the only expenses I have are my time chasing all this up.

But yes we won and I'm happy with that, so thanks again to everyone in here, I'll certainly be spreading the word to friends and family!

Thanks @Coupon-mad; I have already recorded it. Forgot to post on this thread to confirm it. Now sorted. 👍
