Have seen this same 'Gateway timeout' page many times this weekend.
The most recent being just two minutes ago...
All weekend this forum has been exceedingly slow - to the point where it effectively became unusable.1 -

Same problem here over the last few days - no other site is timing out. I've lost posts so have taken to copying longer ones before sending.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yes, this really is a PIA. It makes entering a competition take twice as long as usual. It's been an on and off problem since February.

@MSE_JC Back in April you advised that "Our software provider informs us that the issues should now be resolved." Clearly they are not.

Wish someone had put another 50p in the meter before the clocked off for the weekend. That's a week the forum has been running really slowly now.
