Distance selling rights on on-line comtent

I purchased some on-line content on 6/7.
it was stated no refunds but I don’t think I’ve received the entire package,
I’ve tried contacting various ways but no response.

i think distance selling changed to consumer contracts legislation.
what are my options?
is there any rights within 14 days or do I just go via my credit card for a chargeback?
I am mainly concerned if there is anything time limited I need to act on.

it was over £100.

Thanks in advance

Who did you buy from? Was anything personalised in any way? (e.g. you added personal embroidery, like a name; or you specified a specific length in a text box).

Why don't you think you've received the entire package? (You either have or haven't, and should be able to tell. What did you order?)

Note: £100+ is only relevant if the item price was that; Section 75 doesn't apply if the total order value was £100+ but the individual item prices were less. (Chargeback should still apply though)

Note: a statement saying No Refunds is unenforceable in law.

The laws relating to online sales are The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for all sales) and The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ... these latter replaced the old Distance Selling Regulations.

We'll wait for the OP to clarify, but the phrase 'online content' suggests to me some sort of download - e.g. computer game, streamed TV movie, knitting pattern, e-book etc

I agree, I'm sure the OP is referring to what the Consumer Rights Act calls 'digital content' (it doesn't have to be on-line, it could be on a DVD or memory stick).

A massive part of the CRA is devoted to this - chapter 2 covers Goods, chapter 4 is Services and the whole of Chapter 3 is devoted to Digital Content.

It is rare to buy digital content in the way you might buy a pair of socks for example. The consumer is almost always actually paying for a limited licence to use the content and the contract is subject to an End User Licence Agreement.

If it's a course, the "whole lot" will be the full schedule of "lessons"

So have you checked that you have everything?
Could be that some parts will only come up later as you complete part of the course?

You need to post a link to what exactly this course is, as T/C might provide more info.

@lisyloo -  what are you wanting to achieve?  Do you want to cancel the contract within 14 days or do you want the supplier to provide what they are meant to under the contract?

I'm surprised no-one has asked yet, but is it even a UK based provider?  If not it's likely subject to the consumer laws of a different country.  And are consumer laws relevant... has it been purchased for personal or business reasons?

More info required.  A link to the website might help.
