Nokia 7600 now £29.99 with £15 calltime at CPW
Options
I just called into my local CPW asking for two of the 7600's at £45 each. He said they hadn't got any, but they are currently doing a deal for the phone with £15 calltime for £29.99!!
He also told me that this deal will be going on for the next two weeks. They didn't have any in stock, but should be expecting delivery over the next few days.
I went to the Wrexham branch, so they may have stock in others

If this is true, I for one will be VERY angry!
When phoning up CPW to query my order there was a recorded message saying that they wouldn't have new stock of the Nokia 7600 until at least 25 October. Of course, if this is true then you can be sure that my order of 01 October (and many others for that matter) will be automatically cancelled by CPW as the last email stated that they would do this if stock was not forthcoming within 14 days.
If CPW can allow store visitors to jump the queue like this and usurp their online customer base at the drop of a hat then they really shouldn't be allowed to run a website.

It is true, I saw three large posters about this offer in the window0

Those posters will have been in the window since 01 October and Carphone Warehouse will be loathe to take them down in the intervening period as they get a lot of (legal) passing trade from those posters. It has nothing to do with new stock coming in.
Also...if/when new stock comes in I would be shocked and amazed if the £29.99 includes the credit. If they can sell out so quickly and build up a sizeable online back orders list at the old price then there is absolutely no sensible business case for lowering the price any further. You've surely misunderstodd the sales person or he's been a little economical with the truth.

I just received the 2x nokia 7600 that I ordered online from carphonewarehouse.
I have been given a £30 discount and only been charges £29.99 each.
So not a bad deal with £15 talk time,
I suggest everyone check what they have been charged as it seems the prices has come down to £29.99 for everyoneThey call me Mr Pig!0 -
Lets wait and see what happens Reestit Mutton0

Hi all,
I've just got my order processed e-mail from CPW (ordered phone on the 2nd for £44.99)
The e-mail now shows the 7600 for £44.99 PLUS a "3" £15 air time voucher.... TOTAL order now £59.99!!!
The voucher was NOT shown on the order confirm e-mail which had the correct total of £44.99
I've bounced a strongly worded e-mail back to sales..
Anyone else had this happen to their net order???
Cheers

Personally I think either the bloke in the shop has phrased it badly or you've misunderstood. the deal has always been a Nokia 7600 for £29.99. The proviso was that you had to purchase a £15 voucher at the same time making it £45. The 7600 was never '£45'.
I would be surprised if they do try and change given the fact that 1000's are willing to pay £45 for the full deal. Dunstone isn't that stupid I hope0 -

I think you're right about the £15 voucher, my mistake. But still £29.99 for the 7600 is a bargain considering what it can do!0
