This would seem to be yet another case of Sony not being as good as it's always cracked up to be! Only supports WEP according to this article here. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
thanks espresso
as that was dated may 2005 would sony not have updated by now ? on the psp it gives the option of using wep or wpa you wold think if it gives the option of wpa you should be able to use it0 -
PSP working fine here with Netgear DG834GT using WPA.0

OK try using a HEX key e.g. 0-9 A- F

A HEX key only contains the characters 0-9 and A-F as per post #5 above. Some equipment won't work together when ASCII characters are used it's very easy to change the key anyway. Get a HEX key from here.

Log into the router again and see if you enabled it. Disable it and see if your PSP then connect. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

my psp on 3.80 works fine with my dg834gv3 using wpa-psk
untick the turn access control in wireless settings > Wireless Station Access List and see if that has any effect.0
