Want to buy my husband a new pay and go handset for his birthday but he needs to be able to use his current sim card in it. The sim card is ancient. There shouldn't be a problem putting his old sim into a brand new phone should there? They will be on the same network (o2). I know it sounds like a daft question but I don't…

Yes, I think that would be the case as it was such an ancient promotion.
