Thought some of you might like to see my picture of the Ellis Island Barbecue Combo meal. As you can see I took a bite before I remembered to take a photo. $8.99 with the player's card discount.

There is no need to "cash" travellers cheques as such. You can use them just like cash so long as you have ID with you. Most places take them.

I see pebbels answerd your ?

Just to add if yu want to cash them, you can use the casino cage as well. Of course make sure thay are dollar cheques

Better still get yourself a nationwide flex account and do away with TC,s, i cant remember the last time i took TC,s anywhere

don't know about cashing travellers cheques but-
i had trouble using $100 travellers cheques of all places in borders bookshop-
the staff said that there had been fake $100 ones about in LV and the shop
lost lots of money. $50 ones were taken ok at most places though.

I too have had problems with $100 ones in almost every shop they had to get a supervisor to come and check. In the end I cashed them all in the casino cage which again was a painful and time consuming process I was not changing a huge amount maybe $1500 and it took me the bst part of 45 minutes, I take a money card, cash and acredit card for emergancies and hotel guarentees now I will not take travellers cheques again

I don't think you will be disappointed - the steak special is OK for the money (we tried it, but have never felt the urge to go back), but the BBQ is stunning...especially if you have a 2-for-1 coupon...the only warning I will give is that the corn is always a bit overcooked...but really, you're not going for the corn. :)

What do you mean by "a legit network"? Other than the fact that hijacking other people's wifi is technically theft, is there actually a danger with connecting to unknown networks, assuming one has a decent firewall active?

What I think is being suggested is that hackers are setting up wireless points and with open access and using this to steal data (often keystrokes) from people using them

$60 ticket offer for Ka, Mystere & Zumanity - dates to Feb 2009.

    http://shows.travelzoo.com/las-vegas-shows/503238?utm_source=top20_us&utm_medium=email_top20

This may be the hottest Las Vegas show offer of 2008 -- especially because we seldom see sales from the ever-popular Cirque du Soleil. For performances through February, Cirque du Soleil is offering tickets to these Las Vegas shows for as much as half OFF: KÀ, Mystère or Zumanity.
Category 2 and 3 tickets are $60 to the following shows for performances through February:
    • KÀ: Combining acrobatics and martial arts with technically savvy special effects, is designed to conjure an entire empire on stage.
    • Mystère: The classic Cirque du Soleil production, Mystère combines the powerful athleticism, high-energy acrobatics and awe inspiring imagery that has become the company's hallmark.
    • Zumanity: "The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil," Zumanity is a seductive twist on reality. Leave all inhibitions at the door as this adult-themed production for those 18 and over takes you on a sexy thrill ride.
