Anyone looking for a bargain, I am receiving these on a daily basis this one seems quite good if you are staying on a Tuesday, good luck
You’ve heard of Twofer Tuesdays. Now get ready for Two Cent Tuesdays! Harrah’s Las Vegas is marking down Tuesday night stays to the unheard of price of two cents when you book two more nights before or afterStaying at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip for just two pennies? Believe it.

it's not a bad deal - but the other 3 nights are at their standard rate - so their hot deals rates (if available) might work out to close to the same price depending on how many nights you're staying in total (the longer you're staying the more expensive the $0.02 Tuesday deal will likely be vs the hot deals rates. so worth checking the hot deals rates against the $0.02 Tuesday rates to be sure - especially as the $0.02 Tuesday deal is non-refundable and requires full payment up front.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

december Monday to Wednesday $120.02 doesn't seem bad to me

good luck to anyone who will use,

The hotels seem to be sending out a lot of offer email's at present, I am getting about 4-6 a day if I did not travel there so often now I would take myself off the lists

I really do think that's a great idea - and I've looked at the directions to the GC for our trip later this month and it's really straight forward so I think that even those who are a bit reluctant to do the drive on their own should consider it.
So, if you do it on your own, what do you do when you get there.....eg its probably 50 miles long, how do you know which bits to see?

How far is the trip and how long do you reckon it takes?

I've done exactly that. (As you know ferf.) If I can drive there, anyone can. It really is a straightforward route. A bit boring in parts, but well worth it to see the Canyon at both dawn and dusk.

It is around 250 miles away. When you get there, there is a visitor centre with all the information you need. Also there is an IMAX theatre with a film about the GC.

If you want to do it on a budget, ie not flying there, why not hire a car for a day, especially if theres two or more of you.

Or for real moneysaving, check out of your hotel Saturday morning, stay in a GC lodge/hotel Saturday night and check back into your hotel Sunday.

That way, you avoid the doubled or trebled prices of hotelrooms in Vegas on a Saturday night, you get a second lot of Vegas hotel incentives eg free slot play or food credits, you see the GC at dusk/dawn........

I did originally think about driving but booked the hotel till sunday now so will just travel from there. I get lost quite easily here in UK so my partner doesnt want me to drive lol

Was told the car hire is quite steep especially with the full insurance due to the claims culture. By the way is it cheaper to book a car whilst there if she changes her mind

I am finding this thread EXTREMLY useful on planning a trip to Las Vegas!
Just wondered if anyone could advise me ....
Currently looking at travelling to Vegas on 27th October - 1st November
I am hoping to stay at one of the more luxurious hotels preferably with a view of Strip - Thinking Bellagio!
Just wondered how you get the best deals I've seen a couple on here recently but I've either been to late or it doesn't apply on my dates
Has anyone got any good deals for these dates or any recommedations of the best luxury hotel on strip (I am on a budget of approx £800)
    Many Thanks
