Welc. The luxury 5 star hotels are Wynn, Venetian/Palazzo, and Bellagio. All these are top notch.

All have a view of the strip if you book a Strip View room......if not you may get view of the carpark at the back, or the A/C units on top of the casino floor if youre too low down.

    This is my first post!
I am finding this thread EXTREMLY useful on planning a trip to Las Vegas!
Just wondered if anyone could advise me ....
Currently looking at travelling to Vegas on 27th October - 1st November
I am hoping to stay at one of the more luxurious hotels preferably with a view of Strip - Thinking Bellagio!
Just wondered how you get the best deals I've seen a couple on here recently but I've either been to late or it doesn't apply on my dates
Has anyone got any good deals for these dates or any recommedations of the best luxury hotel on strip (I am on a budget of approx £800)
    Many Thanks

Venetian for 5 nights with $50 food credit on 3 of your nights, 29,30 and 31st. Luxury view room for $1285 plus tax. Around £791.

If you fancy that be quick as it expires today.

  • Thanks for Venetian deal!
I had my heart set on Bellagio Lake View Room but this is proving expensive!
Just wondered is it worth moving hotels during a 5 night/day stay
I can get two nights in Bellagio Lake View for £390 ish and then use Venetian for remaining 3 nights for £370 ish (Total - £760ish)
Just want some opinions of people who may have done this
Check out Bellagio would be 12pm - Venetian check in 3pm
    Thanks Again

Bellagio is expensive though £195 per night.

Either way I would jump on that venetian deal for the last 3 nights to get the rate and the $50. You first two nights are at normal rates so you can decide later where to stay for those nights. If you decide to do it all at the Venetian you could combine the booking.

But be aware the venetian is non refundable and they take the cash upfront on booking.

Do it. Im doing Venetian and then probably Caesars at Xmas.

If you have a car, leave cases in it. If not leave with the concierge at either hotel. Or negotiate a later checkout. And they probably will have rooms available before 3pm.

Ive just had another look for you and there are no offers apart from the one you have seen for the Bellagio.

However, all the prices everywhere are high for 27th and 28th, there must be something going on for those dates. Even the MGM want $175 per night.

So maybe book your last 3 with the Venetian now so it doesn't expire (and it will) and then wait to see what happens with the first 2. But do try to find out what is happening to make the first 2 nights so expensive.

But if you are happy with your budget and the deals you mentioned, go for it, both great hotels and room choices. Changing places isn;t that much a hastle either.

moving hotels is very easy especially with a hire car.

check out of one hotel ( you don't need to go to the check in desk you just drop the keys in the key drop box.),

then load up the car ( you can of course get the bellboys/valet to bring your car to you and load it for you , for a modest tip)

go to to next hotel and use the valet , get them to take your luggage and explain you are going off to do somethings before checking in. they will give you the standard ticket for your cases and hold them safely until you are in your room , where you can then ring down for them . Valet is one the most coveted jobs in Vegas , so you can rest assured about light fingered employees .

Everyone aspires to stay in the Bellagio when seeing the sales patter ect , but luxury rooms are widespread on the strip. Caesar's palace Augustus tower was simply heaven on our trip in April . if you don't mind being at the very south end of the strip THE HOTEL @ Mandalay Bay's rooms will take some beating .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

We don't even drop the keys - just use the check-out on the telly and keep the keys or leave them in the room if they're a style we already have in our collection. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
