Potted about before work. Had a good day at work, including time to do some colouring. We're all set for the last day of term tomorrow & Secret Song Club rehearsal went well. (We're all jumping up to surprise the primary 7 class & singing different lyrics to Shut up & dance).
Finished my book once I got home & had a 15 mins nap. Shortened some sleeves on a blazer after tea & picked DS3 & friend up from the bus.
Grateful for a good day, a surprise present from my friend the art teacher, listening to the rain whilst in the bathUse it up, wear it out

My July Jaunt around Madrid will be a Jolly Jaunt around Australia (East Coast)We saved up for the trip and are going with the mindset of buying things if we need them. Or even if we like them. Or if there are things we want to do - Pip might want to go to a climbing gym, etc. We want to see The Reef. And go whale spotting. I may even dip a toe in the EAC and find some turtles, dude...We'll be self-catering. 2 coeliacs, 1 milk allergy, 1 ARFID, 1 autism between us means that eating out is just not worth it. (and that's just me and Pip. Dh is fine to stuff his face with any and everything)Every day will be an adventure and I'm totally looking forward to it. I suspect there will be regular dancing

@DrCarrie we have a fortnightly cleaner too, OH and I both do long hours and it was just causing too many arguments and resentment between us.
@ditty1234 congrats to your son, I hope all goes well for him, sounds like he has set himself up well and worked extremely hard!
@apple_muncher I went to Oz in 07 and would dearly love to go back one day! There's just so much to explore out there, it's impossible to do it all in one trip!
Today was a wfh day and a NSD. I cooked up some lunches and did a little batch cooking after doing some yoga first thing. Cleaners came at lunchtime so now the place looks much better. I finally swallowed some work frogs that I had been putting off and feel much better about that.
Am feeling really tired atm, am trying to cut out caffeine as part of my ongoing dietary changes due to my stomach issues, but my medication also inhibits iron uptake so I think I'm doubly wiped out. All the more reason to make these changes so I can hopefully reduce my medication or stop it altogether!Save £2,400 tuition fees - £2,321.04 as of 08/24
Pay off credit card by December 2024 - £1,450/£2,0005
