Not a surprise that the declined the appeal. Now just sit an wait and come back here when you receive the letter before claim.  Anything other debt collection letters asking for £170, etc. You can safely file and ignore.

Love it how they mention this "It is only human nature when faced with a parking charge notice to seek advice online for a way to avoid payment, however the information received is usually incorrect and serves to do nothing more than waste the reader’s time."  Is it because 99.99% we manage to beat the Sh*t out of you, and we are a massive thorn in your side?
yes, by the looks of it... i think they are the only one using this wording..
the main concern is the landowner's response..  the next step is to write to the MP and also the Media cover on the landowner response
Any one aware pls how to submit a news story or name /shame kind of thing pls .

Wouldn't worry too much about generating bad publicity. These companies actually revel in the fact that they come across as draconian and the take no prisoners approach.  Just sit tight and wait ( actually relax !)

Read the Newbie thread to get familiar with the process. You will get a few letters threatening all sorts of things ( as already advised, simply ignore these). Then they might decide to employ one of their usual solicitors , Gladstones, Elms , DCB, etc who will issue a letter before claim/action, and we have a template response for that. After that wait for the actual claim from the courts. Once received come back here for guidance on how to mount a defence.  On most occasions you will not end up going to court at all as they realise that you will not give up and they will discontinue the case. On the ones that do go to court, we have a very good success rate anyways.

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS LETTER. UKPS LIMITED REGULARLY TAKES MOTORISTS TO COURT WHO IGNORE THEIR PARKING CHARGES.
Oh no they don't! They are lying.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Yep.

The REALLY urgent thing is to do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline.

    See this thread: -

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-8-weeks-from-11th-july-2025/p1

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

CLOSES ON FRIDAY. Just 3 days to go.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
