    Yep. Apparently it self seeds readily and get them out small or they are a swine to remove.Someone gifted me one and it's currently in flower too.

    Yes, St Johns Wort is the common name.
    I let one self seeded grow because it was hardy and decorative. It didn't stay lovely for me the following year and is tough to remove.

    It's also a herb of sorts.

    Also known as rose of Sharon. Mine is flowering too. Needs a good prune each year otherwise it’d take over. The birds and bees like it thouy

    It's a hypericum of some sort. I think it's H Perforatum, St Johns Wort, commonly used through Europe as a treatment for depression.

    Yes this one was only planted 2 year back and it's already  5ft.
