Hi all
Hoping someone can give me some links to some good mattresses within the budget of £300-£400.
Basically need something like this but with edge support.
Hope someone can help?
Thanks

TBH mattress comfort is such a personal thing it would be better for you to go into a few mattress shops and lie on them.
You can take the details of the ones that suit your comfort level and see if you can buy cheaper online.
FWIW I've been happy with the Myers orthopaedic mattresses I have bought over the years1 -
go to go to dreams, they analyse how you use a bed and show you suitable mattresses. I got my mattress from them and I’m so comfortable. Definitely give them a try.Having said that, I also find hybrid mattresses incredibly comfortable, but they are really heavy. Depends if you are strong enough, if so, then I’d recommend them.0

I didn't buy in to all that sleep analysis stuff from Dreams, I thought it was a massive con. I then went and gave it a try because my wife wanted to and I have to say, it's pretty clever technology and the mattress style they suggested was extremely comfortable. We're waiting to get a bigger bed frame but will be foing with the type they suggested. So long as it lasts a decent amount if time then investing in a mattress is money well spentSome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

Following this with interest, I do need a new mattress but am wary of spending too much on one that doesn't suitI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. For me the key is natural fibres. I bought a Snoozel Green mattress which is a hybrid made with natural latex and wool layers. It is delivered flat. Mattresses that are transported rolled up can only use small, almost useless spring coils. The Snoozel uses full size coils. It's on the firm side, but feels wonderful to sleep on. Natural fibres are temperature regulating so keep you warm in winter on cool in summer. It's actually cheaper than you might expect - many other companies selling 'natural' products bump the price up because they know people will pay a premium. Snoozel does a 100 day trial . . .

I always go to John Lewis but the experience of lying on a bed for a matter of seconds is very different to hours every night x 8years (how long I personally expect a mattress to last). No man is worth crawling on this earth.

We changed to a simba last year and within 6 weeks, we both started to struggle with hip pain. Used it till we returned it under their return guarantee and ended up spending almost £3k on a medium ViSpring. Best spent money ever as we sleep so much better and without the hip pain.
Best advice I can give is if you sleep on your side then medium or soft depending on your weight. If you sleep on your back, then a firmer mattress helps.2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.
