Have you received Cynergy's notification of rate reductions

Cynergy have recently advised some savers that they are reducing the rates on issues 68 and 69 of their easy access accounts. Although some have received this email, others (myself and Mum included) have not. I have not seen a poll on this forum before so thought I'd give it a go.

As Cynergy only have to notify you if the account has >£100 in it, please do not respond if your balance is below that.

They also have to give 2 weeks notice which means we all should have been informed by now.

I'm not sure whether a poll restricts you to 1 answer only. I suspect so in which case, if you have both accounts, I will leave it up to you to choose which account.

The flaw in the poll is that it only accepts one answer when you could have both accounts.

Agree but I wasn't sure if that was the case when I set it up. I rather hoped it would've given me the option to permit 2 answers but alas, that was not the case. I could've gone for just a yes/no response but I thought it might be useful to know if one account was more problematic than the other. I also felt that although many might have both accounts, it would be less likely that both would funded to the minimum balance criteria.

Just received notification Issue 68 to reduce to 5% on 4th July!

Ticked the wrong choice box. I should have chosen 'issue 68. I haven't received an email advising of rate reduction' rather than 'issue 69. I haven't received an email advising of rate reduction'. And as I type still haven't received any notification.

Sounds like the change for issue 68 is now taking place from 4th July as Aidanmc reports, not 26th June as those who received notifications on 6th June were told. So they've got until 20th June to notify us of the change and give us the required 14 days notice.

For those previously emailed to say 26th June for the change, there is the remaining question whether the change will take place on 26th June or 4th July for them.

Has anyone else been emailed to say 4th July?

I voted not received notification, but I have now received an email confirming 4th July. Not sure why some got an earlier email, unless it is dependent on when you opened the account.

I too have now received notification. It went into my Spam folder although that is not what happened to the first so why some were notified originally and others not is a mystery.

Same for me as for 1spiral - I got a notification (Tues 18th) for Issue 68 which ended up in my spam folder.

I received the rate reduction email (which ended up in my spam folder) from Cynergy Bank on 13th June informing me of the new rate, which inclusive of the fixed bonus, will be 5.00% AER/Gross.
