On the easy access thread, people are posting that from 27th September, Cynergy are reducing their rates. I again have received no notification (checked spam folder too). Is anyone else in the same boat? I thought it was mentioned before that their T&Cs state 14 days notice.
I received the notification email (issue 68) on 11th September (Wednesday) of this reduction from 5% to 4.8% from 26th September (note not 27th September).

Doh, that's my problem. I forgot I emptied the account 2 weeks back and their T&Cs tell you they won't inform you if you have less than £100. Interesting scenario then as next week I plan to top it back up. I wonder if that will trigger a notification or would I be left never knowing because I didn't qualify for the notification when they sent them out.

Hi, I have 2 x Cynergy accounts have received 2 x emails on the  12 Sept advising of the rate reduction.  Neither emails went into SPAM folders.  So they have defiantly issued "some" emails. When did you open you account?
  • Issue 68. No I haven't received an email advising of rate reduction.
So sent funds across yesterday. Will now wait to see if I get a notification. There is nothing obvious that I can see on their website or post login to warn that the rates on these accounts are dropping.
I currently have issue 68@5%, 77@4.91 and 78@4.94. Are all of these accounts dropping to 4.8 or is it only the 5% accounts?

I expect if you didn't have sufficient funds on the original notification date, they will not inform you now. But it will be an interesting experiment.
  • Issue 68. Yes I have received an email advising of rate reduction.
Cynergy are still failing their own DMARC policy with these emails. My rate reduction was in spam folder because it didn't have a DKIM signature

3 days since I deposited funds and no notification so one is obviously not coming. Can anyone point me to where they publish these reductions? I'm still unsure as to what accounts they are applying what reductions to.

Issue 69. No I haven't received an email advising of rate reduction.
I've closed and transferred my issue 68 into issue 80 today, since the issue 68 rate falls today to the issue 80 rate of 4.8%, and because the issue 68 bonus would have disappeared next month pushing that below the issue 80 rate.
I was one of the account holders who was notified late of the previous decrease down to 5% and the closing interest does correctly reflect that late notification.
Incidentally you can find historic rates for all the issues by going to their interest rate page then clicking on the historic rates tab and then clicking on the download button. That won't take into account the above late notification that happened to some of us for issue 68. And today's reduction won't be there yet.
I don't think there is any page on their website where they detail announced reductions that are yet to happen, so we are reliant on getting the notification email through.
