Its definitely been a waste of money the last two months 🙄 . Holidays, illness, lots of other excuses has prevented me going. But I've still been 49 times in the last 6 months.

What l really need to do is get back on it 💪I feel so much better physically and mentally when l go regularly. Plus when I used to go in the daytime it stopped me going shopping, actually money saving 😄 .

My afternoon has been the opposite of money saving, our youngest needed school shoes (announced last night when the shops were shut) so today afterschool we went and brought new shoes, new boots, two jumpers and underwear. I did at least find a voucher to use saving 25% still £70 spent. This will come out of the "kids pot".

I'm itching to make our first October overpayment just waiting for Mr CK's  money to arrive in our joint account on Wednesday. Im hoping by the end of the month our mortgage will begin with a "2" 😁

  • Afternoon all,

I'm in good spirits despite waking up at 4.30am 😳 and failing to get back to sleep followed by a miserable commute. Maybe its the three coffees I've drank already 😉.

I'm in a "get things done" kinda mood. My work colleague has just shown me how to back up my 1000's - not exaggerating 😱 of photos and videos from my phone to my goggle account (current time until completion is 4 hours 52 mins). I know the rest of the world did this 100 years ago, better late than never. This will allow me to clear them off my phone so it works faster and if ever l lost my phone l will still have the memories 🥰.

I have also made a interim payment off the mortgage of £750 so its a nice round £32,000 remaining.

Also paid £60 off the CC to bring the balance to £2600.

    Have a good Tuesday x

  • Evening all,

Why is it when your breaking up from work you have to work the hardest you've ever worked 😅. Today was crazy busy but I'm finally home fed and watered contemplating the week ahead.

I have a few weather dependant NT visits planned (our membership expires next week) and a long list of jobs l need to complete. But after the month ive had l think a bit of a relax is also in order.

I also confess that I had a look at some winter sun holidays leaving next week.  I was surprised at the reductions (I'm normally a book ahead kinda girl) . Hopefully the same will happen at Xmas or Feb half term so we can get away.
