Nope because it's no longer listed by the DLUHC in the latest info re the Code, AFAIK.

And it's waaaay over any POPLA Assessor's head and won't even be considered.
My LBC finally arrived, shall I just email the blank template from the newbies thread to DCBLegal who are doing this on behalf of UKPC?

Do you know how I can find the landowners details for Phoenix Retail Park, Stafford St, Wolverhampton WV1 1NT? So I can write to them in order to try and get this squashed ?

    Dear Sirs,

    Your Ref. ############
    Proposed Legal Proceedings
    Claimant: xxxxxx xxxxxxxx Ltd

I refer to your your letter of claim.

I confirm that my address for service for the time being - assuming you don't faff about and delay any claim - is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:
    [Correct address here]

The alleged debt is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

I am sourcing and seeking independent debt advice and as such, I formally request that this matter be put on hold for an additional 30 days, in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims 2017 ('the PAP').

I note that the amount being claimed has increased by a hugely exaggerated amount which the Government called "extorting money from motorists".

Don't send me your usual blather about that.
I have two questions, and under the PAP I am entitled to specific answers:

    1. Am I to understand that the additional £70 represents what you lot dress up as a 'Debt Recovery' fee, and if so, is this nett or inclusive of VAT? If the latter, would you kindly explain why I am being asked to pay the operator’s VAT?

    2. With regard to the principal alleged PCN sum: Is this damages, or will it be pleaded as consideration for parking?

    Yours faithfully

Google the place to find who runs it.

    Promise us one thing please:

when DCB Legal reply to the template LBC reply please DON'T show us their tedious reply. No. We are fed up seeing it!  Just search the forum at that time, for the VAT ref and copy what everyone else did.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Accidentally sent using my email and not my wifes therefore the name is different. However does state the reference number.

I still have not heard back from DCB Legal, is this an issue?

I have just emailed again, using the correct email but it's now gone past 30 days is there anything extra I should do?
Also received another DCB Legal letter for the other parking offence.

Is info@dcblegal.co.uk also the correct place to be sending this stuff?

    It's fine.

There's no deadline for the proposed Defendant to respond. Stop believing what they say!

My wife has finally received the HM Courts & Tribunals Service letter stating UK Parking Control are claiming for a total of £266.72 Issued 7th Feb.

Family funeral etc. last week means I put this on the back burner. I am just about to submit the AOS.

With a Claim Issue Date of 7th February, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS') in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 12th March 2025 to file a Defence.

That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Although I have written 'you', please remember that everything must be done in the name of the named Defendant.
