OP you seem to be getting quite a few PCNs over the last couple of years.  Might be good idea to think twice before parking in the wrong place.

Interestingly a new law has come into force in Scotland where no parking on pavements is allowed at all.  Needless to say that is causing chaos in areas where it has been the de facto thing to do for years, so folk don't now park on the pavements and some roads are virtually blocked.

Or to be exact, it permits councils to opt to outlaw it across their area (which has happened in Edinburgh, not sure if anywhere else has so far).
As far as I can make out it is now covers the whole of Scotland but councils can have select opt outs.

It is prohibited unless the council has passed an order permitting it.
old mum has a wheel chair and I hate to see her bumping up and down kerbs and riding in the road.

But you don't seem to have a problem with other people having to do that as a result of your actions.

Sorry, you're right, not sure why I thought the above. Makes the default the same as Greater London i.e. no pavement parking unless there's a specific exemption.
