I bought quite a lot of clothes when I've been in the states, it;s great to have some choice in bigger sizes. Like you, I'm bigger on top than bottom, and mostly I'm on the lookout for everyday cheap clothes. I got some of the £3 jeans from Tesco to fit me, but the seams ripped very quickly. Recently I bought some jeans in Asda, there was quite a lot of styles in bigger sizes. (Their tops don't fit me though.) Apart from that it's Evans sales for dresses and Ann Harvey were great for suits when I was working, the quality of the clothes at AH has been 2nd to none. I bought lovely trousers and sparkly top from Elvi last year, They don't often have much I like and very expensive. I keep thinking I'll make my own clothes. I brought some plus size patterns for classics back from the US but don't know where to start. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Bon Marche does do lots of really nice clothes. They do ranges for the more mature lady but generally do some younger styles too. I always buy my work trousers (for about £14) from there and my jeans (about £18) as they come in different leg lengths. Their tshirts do tend to be on the short side, they ride up above my jeans alot:o. Bon Marche are brilliant in the sales. I bought some jeans before xmas for £7 that were £18.
Debenhams do a range called Gorgeous that go up to a size 26.
MK1 is ok for "throw away fashion". Their sales can be good too. I recently bought a tshirt that was £10, and got it for £3.
Find out if you live near a Matalan clearance store. They do items at 75% off normal price and include R&R stuff. I bought some jeans for £4 earlier this year.0 -
This is a great thread I'm only 5"2 and wear a size mmmm well depends which store about a 22/24 in Evans who knows as they seem to size their clothes smaller and is it just me or has there stuff gone way down hill and expensive !!!why make tops that are gathered on top for larger curvey ladies they just make u look pregnant!!!
I have short legs and have a hell of a problem getting bottom half clothes .Try bhs they seem to come much larger I can get into a 20 jeans there also like new look for price .I'm fed just wearing what fits as opposed to what I'd like .
I know lose weight but I can't find the motivation or will power .0 -

I have a the below website stored in my list of catalogues that I know do larger sizes in most of their clothes.
http://www.bonprixsecure.com
I also second the post above for http://homeshoppingdirectcom.drct2u.com/home.jsp
If you see an item on one site though say Simply Be through that link - check other sites on there as they do tend to have differentn prices on some things to the next. Odd!2 Tickets to Blackrock Masters Tennis:j0 -
I can highly recommend Yours shops - also online at yoursclothing.co.uk - they have a fantastic range and really reasonable prices, they model all their ranges online on plus size models too so you know exactly what they will look like on a fuller figure, not a size 0 skeleton!0

If you are anywhere near an Ulla Popken store then it's well worth a visit - stuff is actually long enough, plenty of cotton (I hate all the polyester stuff) - and they do some lovely undies. You can try them on in store, but actually I usually order online.0

they are also online
