You can get basic jeans and black trousers in the inspire range at new look. I wouldnt go for their tops though as they tend to be the trend that is happening at the moment.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

yes tk maxx is very good and the clothes they sell are more often than not the american ones..however they are american sizes and tkmaxx knows nothing about the sizing. Take time and look through they put 3xl in size 16 etc
it is often a case of trying lots on....but you get to know what sizes are what brands but you can get some fantastic bargains.0 -
oops i quoted the wrong post should have been the one above0

Do Rogers and Rogers still have their own stores? They were great xGone ... or have I?0

Don't rule out Ann Harvey, though it's true that some of their clothes are a bit fuddy-duddy, I have found some nice stuff in there and it's always very well made. Suits especially.
Tends to be pricey, but at this time of year they're very good at discounting.
Go in with an open mind and hope for the best!0 -

it bugs me with evans and i think they have got cocky, there clothes are often poor quality and always shrink when washed, they say you can tumble dry them but i would never ever tumble dry them as you lose 2 sizes or so, tops are often way too short to cover what us curvy ladies want to cover ie mummy tum and my lardy butt....it really winds me up.
I did see in marks the other day a third of their range is going upto a size 24 so more choice...however I am sick of it and going to swear blind to myself 2008 is the year to find the real me under this lardlol...said that for the past 10 years tho lol
I could have written that. :rotfl:
I hate Evans! Overpriced tat. They probably think that we'll be grateful for what we can get. I'm wearing an Evans top today, and my dh and dd keep laughing because it rides up and they sometimes catch a glimpse of my belly if I forget to yank it down.
And why do clothes manufacturers make low rise jeans in plus sizes?? I want more Simon Cowell type trousers - not jeans that show my builders bum everytime I get out of the car! I never know until I try them on, and because i've either bought them off eBay, or it'd cost me a small fortune to drive a 90 mile round trip to return them, i'm left with them. I wouldn't sell them on because I don't think anyone would willingly show off their crack.
I know I know. It should be an incentive to slim. If and when I ever get down, it'll be to spite Evans!!
M&Co are not too bad. I got jeans there yesterday, and they cover my bum.Quite a lot of their tops are polyester (hence clingy) though.
