If you apply for accounts at Tesco Internet savings or at First Direct or Oxbury - which of them, if any, insist on sending you physical letters with whatever codes, instead of just using online communications?

I don't think any of Tesco Internet savings or Oxbury posted me any physical letters with one time codes etc
EDIT - I have a record of a First Direct online activation code, but can't remember if that was electronic email/text or not

new to Tesco Bank, opened account today, can log in online and app, deposit arrived instantly but did say at the end of application that they woud sending a letter in the post - perhaps to confirm nominated account.

From memory they say to confirm nominated account but it can only be to confirm address really. Don't think you can withdraw funds until that process is complete. Don't take that as gospel.
