disel claim

Options
in 2022 I started a disel claim with a company called poghurst goodhead, recently they have been bombarding me with emails asking for personal details, they want a copy of my passport/driving licence, log book, proof of address and other forms of id. has anyone delt with this company and sent these types of identity to them?  I have been a victim of fraud in the past so very cautious and suspicious of this type of thing. in hindsight wish I hadn't started the claim as its just stressful at this point

Your alternative is you withdraw the claim and pay their fees to date

AIUI all solicitors are obliged to carry out these checks on new clients, and have been for many years. Anti-money-laundering, etc.
  • I'm hoping someone on here have had experience with this specific company? they seem to just send out the same emails over and over asking for the same details tbh and reading reviews left on trust pilot dosimetry fill me with confidence,

Maybe if you supplied the info they need they'd stop "bombarding" you.

It was intended to be helpful. As I explained above, they have to ask for that information.

You wouldn't want to deal with a lawyer that broke the ummmmm law.  They have to get evidence of who you are.  Simple as that, really...
