Advice on sending a prove it letter?

I’ve heard back from Restons today and they have agreed the repayment plan but they haven’t provided the information I requested?
They have stated that I need to make the first payment on the 21st of this month and that they are waiting to hear from their client.
Should they provide all the relevant paperwork before payments start?
If they can’t provide the paperwork where does that leave me?
Thanks again folks if you’re able to advise0 -
Hi guys
I know I’ve asked for a lot of help but I wondered whether you have any advice with this moving forward?
Where do I stand if they can’t provide the documents that I requested?
thanks again.0 -
Can anybody offer any advice with the above please guys?
Im due to make a payment tomorrow and as yet they haven’t provided any paperwork.Any help would be really appreciated.0 -
The world isn't going to end if you don't pay them tomorrow, just don't pay if they can't produce the documents. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

Under the provisions of the consumer credit act, whilst you are waiting for a response to a request made under sec 77 CCA for information on your account, the creditor is not entitled to enforce the agreement.
As the only way they can attempt to force payment from you is via the courts, and that route is temporarily barred, then they cannot force payment from you, therefore its your choice whether you continue payments or not.
If they subsequently find the correct paperwork, then you`ve shown goodwill, if they can`t find it, you've wasted your money, most companies treat these requests as a dispute, and place your account on hold until its resolved, so no payments would be required, not all creditors operate in this way though.

I opted to see if they could provide the relevant paperwork and as yet, they haven’t.However, today I’ve received a letter saying I’ve missed a payment and if it’s not paid by the 6th May they will take the matter further. In the letter it states that I can call them or login to the online portal. I haven’t used the portal and was advised to contact them via later previously. So I’m wondering what my next steps should be please?
Thank you0 -
Taking the matter further will be another letter, they are trying to frighten you into phoning them and paying, just ignore them and see what the next letter says.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

They state in the most recent letter that I’ve missed a payment that was part of the payment plan that was agreed.0
