Thanks for all the help. It’s much appreciated. Can I not ask for the copy of the contract without filling all the forms in?Do I have to legally tell them my wife’s finances?
Thanks again0 -
Look, the court process has started, you must now follow it, you must fill in the LBA as advised previously, otherwise a claim form will be dropping on your doormat next.
Its entirely up to you.

You have to complete the forms sent and return them.
They are doing this to prevent the debt becoming statute barred.

I will be sending the forms back recorded delivery and asking for more info.0 -
@ Macka09
Please just halt for 24 hours. You do not want to be acknowledging the debt in writing this close to the date it becomes statute barred.
Do you have court papers from Nottingham? Or not?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

They have an LBA, which is as @sourcrates says is the first stage of court action, if it is ignored it's likely there will be a claim form arriving soon. I think it's dangerous to ignore an LBA0 -
I'd like to see a redacted copy of the LBA?

I am about to send the papers back recorded delivery tomorrow. I have requested more info about the debt.I assume this will act as proof that I’m acknowledging the debt?
I don’t know of any other options.0 -

You have to now comply with the court process.
