My partner is currently paying for an AOL subscription that he hasn't used for over 3 years! I am asking as I have just transferred his credit card balance onto a 0% card, however, one of the things he was paying for on his card was a £14.99 per month subscription, which was from when he lived at home - basically, it no longer exists, but he's still paying. He wants to cancel the credit card once the balance transfer is complete, but doesn't know what the consequences will be with regards to the AOL subscription? Would the cancellation of the card simply cancel out the ability for AOL to charge the card, or is that just too easy.

Is there any way of cancelling with AOL? I would prefer to do everything legit and above board.
